In difficult environment, redesigning the Airspace to allow more traffic in an always more constrained context requires a complete integration of different techniques from procedure design, sectorization and Air Traffic Control working methods. New technologies like ADS-B, SBAS may even lead to more balanced solutions and a homogeneous level of precision in the considered airspace.
