Industrialisation of satellite manufacturing: a change in the space industry

The Professional Group Aeronautics and Space of the Arts et Métiers of Toulouse invites you to attend a conference on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the B612, to listen to Héloïse SCHEER and Bernard MENA on the subject: "Industrialisation of the manufacturing of Satellites: a change in the space industry".

In recent years, the space industry has undergone a profound transformation that has pushed the sector's manufacturers to reinvent themselves. New markets, new competitors, new needs, it has been necessary to accelerate the technological evolution, to deeply modify the working methods while maintaining an extremely high level of quality, to adapt the tools and the methods of design, assembly, integration and tests.

Héloïse and Bernard, both working at AIT at Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse, will talk about the context, the organisations and the human aspects of these changes.
