Venus and the EnVision mission

On Thursday January 8, 2026 at 2pm, ENAC will host a seminar by Pascal Rosenblatt, planetologist at the University of Nantes, entitled "Venus and the EnVision mission".The lecture will take place in the Bellonte amphitheatre, and will be followed by a discussion with the audience.

The talk will explore what we know about Venus today, and the many questions still unanswered: why did Earth's "sister planet", similar in size and composition, evolve in such an extreme environment? And what can it teach us about the evolution of our own planet? Pascal Rosenblatt will also present the objectives of the EnVision mission led by ESA, as well as the RadioScience experiment, piloted by CNES, designed to analyze the internal structure of Venus.
