Industrial asset management in the airport world

Airport assets must be managed efficiently. The search for the best decision making (CAPEX and/or OPEX) must be based not only on the cost and performance of the assets but also on the risks generated by these decisions. The strategy deployed (aligned with the company's policy) must take into account the entire life cycle of these assets: from design to dismantling, including construction and operation. This is all the more relevant in the current crisis situation: the aviation world must reposition itself in a VUCA economic environment: our environment has become volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA in English). More and more decisions have to be made in an uncertain context, as the framework conditions are constantly changing and the consequences of our decisions are now difficult to predict.
