Giving wings

On 2021 November 19, I was invited to the graduation of the ENAC airline pilot students to be their mentor. A strong moment, since after they received their diplomas by the director and the chief pilot of ENAC, I hung the "wings" on the students' uniforms. Indeed, during the training, the students wear only half a wing, a sign that they are still learning.
It was an opportunity for me to deliver a message and to live a great moment too, because 17 years before, I was treading this ground, here in Toulouse, in the school that would make me what I became, a pilot and even a captain.
As the speech was not recorded, I received some requests to have access to it and I decided to share it on this blog: https://www.highpressureaviation.com/blog/ac2gcszfh6qvvc1j30ax6r7jycxlt6
