La Science taille XX elles

As part of the Science in the City festival in Toulouse, this project, proposed by the Femmes&Sciences association and the CNRS, highlights contemporary and historical women scientists, and unveils the diversity of scientific and technical professions to encourage everyone to take an interest in science and challenge stereotypes.The aim is to encourage everyone to take an interest in science, and to challenge stereotypes.

Some sixty speakers will be present over 3 days, with 25 laboratories and 10 establishments involved, to exchange ideas with the public.

In three parts, "La Science taille XX, elles" offers festival-goers the chance to discover :

• An art exhibition of 12 portraits of women scientists, on view from July 6 to 15 at Galeries Lafayette, the Espace des diversités et de laïcité in Toulouse and the Aeroscopia aeronautics museum throughout the summer.
• Meetings at the Espace des diversités et de laïcité from July 7 to 9
• A 6-stage itinerary, with Toulouse as the backdrop.
