Decarbonising French industry, For what? Why?
Why 'Climate Transition' is an imperative for French industry: to 'save the planet' (perhaps) and to save itself (certainly!).

Christophe Dubois-Damien, Chairman of the Economics Committee of IESF (Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France) and Chairman of the 1980 professional group of Sciences Po Alumni, is delighted to invite you to a free lecture as part of the 25th "Entretiens économiques d'IESF" conference. The UNIT foundation (digital transformation support) is in charge of logistics.

Speakers :

Vincent Guardiola: Keynote speaker
Vincent Guardiola trained as an engineer (Ingénieur Civil des Ponts et Chaussées) with additional management training (IAE/Paris-Sorbonne Business School).
He has spent most of his career in banking (32 years), with a 7-year spell in industry:
- First at Indosuez (now Crédit Agricole CIB) in France and Asia as a product specialist (project finance),
- 7 years at Alcatel (now Nokia) in the Strategy & Finance department (responsible for financing customers' satellite and submarine cable projects).
- He then spent 17 years as a senior executive in the French branches of major foreign banks (RBS, BBVA, Uni Crédit, Lloyds Bank).
Since 2020, Vincent has specialised in ESG* consulting for industrial companies (decarbonisation strategies, ESG leadership, growth and competitiveness), within MSCC.ESG.
