Air Transport Recovery and Growth Post COVID-19 - Incheon International Airport - Safe Corridor Initiative

At the height of the crisis last year, West Africa Aerospace Events, founded by Bamba Fall (MS MTA 2012), brought together the various players in African civil aviation around five webinars whose central theme was "The impact of covid-19 on air transport in West Africa: consequences and prospects".

An Asian sub-regional model, known as the Safe Corridor Initiative, which aims to restore traveler confidence by reducing air travel-related worries, was presented.was implemented last December at Incheon International Airport in South Korea. West Africa Aerospace Events believes that it would be interesting to share this experience in order to identify strategies and approaches that could inspire and support the revival of air traffic in West Africa.
