A common unit rate for air navigation charges

The next strategic webinar in EUROCONTROL Stakeholder Forum series will be looking at en-route air navigation service provision, the cost of which varies considerably across States on 15 February, 15:00-16:00 CET, where we will be asking: Would adopting a common unit rate for en-route air navigation charges result in more direct routes being flown, and help Europe achieve its challenging environmental targets?

For the webinar, they've invited top aviation players to discuss whether a common unit rate would really incentivise airspace users to fly more efficient routes, and to assess the practicality of adapting the current route charges system – as well as exploring the implications that such a change would have on air navigation service providers and airspace users.
